EvoRider Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 what is the average price used on a SG 61 Reissue in black? I am gonna try and trade a Mesa Triple Rectifier head for one? Is there a certain model I should look for? I had a heritage cherry a few years ago but the red color threw me off. I haven't had a Gibson guitar in a while and have missed having one.... Most '61 RIs (1992 - 2012) are done in Heritage Cherry and that's the ones you will run across the most. The other colors Ebony , Classic White, and Sapphire Blue (I think I even seen one in Gloss Yellow ??) are out there just somewhat harder to find. On a side note there was a "Limited Proprietary Run" of 2016 SG RIs, again mostly red. But, for some reason there are lots of these in Ebony on the Japanese market. They are not cheap.
