MarcelNL Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 Hi, Just recieve my new J15 antique naturel. Instead of a light neck, my gitar has a dark neck like the burst version. Anyone know if this is correct. I can not find any pictures of it and al 2019 versions are with a light neck, Thanks in advanced. Gibson Acoustics are sometimes built to be "intentionally unique". They will make small changes as they morph into a new model or year. They have 'custom shop' runs of 50 which are ordered to be different. You can be assured that, regardless of the stain they used on your neck, the same quality is there. Navy Vet. Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 I have the same guitar, 2018 model, with the blonde maple neck, yours looks better dark. While I’m not a dreadnaught fan, I’ve rarely keep one more than six months the J-15 doesn’t seem as cumbersome to me as others.
