Cerb
Hey! Just brought a new SG home (see introduction thread). I was going to set it up yesterday and as I was going to adjust the truss rod I noticed that the included wrench (Gibson multi tool) didn't fit. I think it fits the nut but the pocket around the nut may be too small, or the walls of the wrench too thick. Have anyone else had the same experience? What was the solution? Get a wrench with thinner walls?
Leonard McCoy
Shove it in there, it fits.

I have no dobt that the wrench fits the nut but there's not enough room around the nut to get it in, like the cutout in the headstock is too small. Dave F
I have a couple wrenches I've had to bench to fit but it's usually the tip of the bullet that causes the interference for me.

I know, still, just force it into the pocket, there's no other way around. It's not an uncommon issue.

Tightening the rod straightened the neck and helped fix the remaining intonation issues. This guitar is amazing!
