BoSoxBiker
I'm a year away from getting a Gibson ES of some sort, so not an urgent question by any stretch. That said, I'm still curious to know what makes this new guitar a $10k guitar? Did I miss something in the specs? I see a sub - $6k guitar, which is still not a shabby zip-code to reside. bobouz
Byrdland short-scale vibe? Chuck Berry connection? Not worth anywhere near the asking price, imho.
SteveFord
Somebody at Gibson is hoping to buy a new Porsche is my guess.
thornev
Not worth it. There's nothing special about that guitar except maybe the maple top. Everything else, as far as I know, and I'm guessing, is electronics you can get in any other Gibson guitar. They're praying on people who don't know any better is my guess. For that money you can buy an original ES350T with PAFs that smokes. I know - I've got a 1957 ES350T. Shame on Gibson. Twang Gang
I think the guitar is worth maybe $3000, but the replica "Zuni Bolo Tie" must be what bumps it up to $10,000.🤣 1

Chuck Berry ES-350T $6k is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I looked at the catalog on Friday. That is one quality git but $10k? In your dreams James Curleigh! SteveFord
I missed the "Zuni Bolo Tie" extra. Take my pennies and make me happy!!!
kidblast
Absurd, bet they sell a lot of those... not... then again that does look close to a brydland and they've always been stupidly expensive.
