Maybe I'm missing something, but how does one raise the neck "sidewinder" pickup on a Les Paul Futura guitar?

There seems to be no height movement/adjustment available in this pickup?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If it is the P90 type, there are 2 screws in between the pickup magnet screws - if you see what I mean.

I think the amount of adjustment is limited.

Good luck!

Ye, that's my problem. Those screws do nothing, other than come out!

Given the number of replies, the Futura must've been a big hit for Gibson 😕

So no adjustment occurs when you screw them the other way?

The P90 is supposed to have springs under it, captivated by the screws to lift it, when the screws are backed off.

Also the fit of the P90 in the cavity is frequently too tight, specially with a sculpted top. You may need to carefully lift it up and see if it gets springy, or take it out to see whats wrong.
