stuka1166
Hello all- I am a Gibson Les Paul novice. I have been looking at different LP's over the past 2 mos, to learn more and potentially purchase one. It will in fact be my 1st LP ever. My question to the group, I saw a visible wire on the side of the pickup, on an Anaconda Burst LP. The pickups are Seymour Duncan, and the fellow at the guitar shop it was normal to see a wire in that manner. I just wanted to get other opinions if it affects the performance, or is a reflection on the workmanship or value ?? Thanks so much !! Eracer_Team
Hard to see when I zoom in the picture gets blurry. But they have to join 2 coils of wire together somehow to make it a humbucker pickup I suspect you're seeing that connection as there are no pickup covers on the pickupĀ
