Here's an article about this.  It says....

That is good News! I want more Specs on the Texan.. Also, what Electronics? I'm very interested in this Guitar.

I like my cheapie Inspired by Texan but it isn't in the same league as my 1975 Martin D-35, my '90's Martin 12 String or my 2001 Gibson Bozeman Masterbilt Solid Top J-160E...

Any word on USA Casinos?

Well I didn't say it had to make sense 😄    And since when did that stop Gibson from doing something   😛

There are plenty of nice Gibson DCs anyway when they decide to make them.. This would be a nice cheaper end version I think...  Damn the logic, this is art 🙂

Gibson Can do anything they want with it and maybe if we put enough pressure on to convince them to build a DC Pro with the new Headstock and a Goldtop. It would be enough to push me off the fence.

The DC Pro is a bit different from Les Paul Standard DC, the body shape is different and the neck is joined at the 23 fret, the LP DC at 22nd fret. Its Sire the "Epiphone Del Rey", that the DC Pro is upgraded from, was introduced in 96 and the Del Rey most likely served as the inspiration for the Gibson Tak Matsumoto DC.

No bad, they are very similar.

Other observations, is Epiphones headstocks on the V, Firebird and Explorer have always looked the same as the Gibson versions. So just up grading the build?

Thanks Rabs - those 2 LPs in the video look great - lovely wood and bursts. I like that they are rolling the edges of the boards, that will help give them a nice feel when played in a shop and many won't even realise why. The Epi's look like they are closing the gap!

Well... I looks Gibson cleaned house on quite a few Epiphone models, the Blueshawk, Nighthawk, Bolt-on Neck guitars and Elitist didn't seem to make the cut, to name a few..

After watching a NAMM video I noticed a few guitars not listed on the web site, like the USA built Casino.

I must admit, I'm a bit sad to see the normal headstock for Epi LP's and SG's  go. I always liked it. Unless they changed to a Gibson one it all seems a bit pointless to me.  The new headstock is an old Epi design and the clipped ear headstock was an old Epi design, so really they have just replaced one old design for another. The new headstock looks more at home on semis and hollows in my opinion.  It would have been nice to at least keep an option for the old headstock. The new guitars do look nice though.

When do you guys think these will hit the stores? cant wait to try them out!

Some/ most of them are available right now in the UK, so if you're in the US I would imagine they are out there too already?

To mods.. I know this is Epiphone but I think its quite relevant to the Gibson lounge as one of the things us Gibson lovers always moan about when it comes to Eip is the headstock shape...

Well check these

Fans of Epiphone and Gibson that have long wished for some headstock parity between the brands have reason to rejoice: Epiphone's new Inspired By Gibson Collections will drop the sharp angles of Epiphone's recent headstocks and soften their curves into the "open-book" style, while still being differentiated from Gibson's own design.

The plan to move toward the open-book shape for Epiphone was softly announced back in September 2019 by Gibson CMO Cesar Gueikian, who shared a photo of an elongated open-book headstock on Instagram and said "it's coming" when asked to put it on more Epiphone models, as reported by Guitar World at the time.

The Inspired By Gibson Collections—announced today—will follow Gibson's lineup restructuring from last year. Epiphone's streamlined offerings will go nearly model-for-model with Gibson's, offering less-expensive, foreign-made versions of Gibson designs that look more similar to the US-built Gibsons than ever before.

Like Gibson's bifurcated lineup, Epiphone's Original Collection will feature vintage-style instruments, while the Modern Collection will offer slicker, more contemporary guitars.

The Original Collection—featuring the likes of Les Paul '50s and '60s Standards, SG Standard with Maestro, Firebird, Flying V, and Explorer—will have CTS pots, vintage pickup voicings and wiring, vintage-style tuners, and era-correct neck profiles.

The Modern Collection—featuring the Les Paul Studio, Les Paul Modern, and SG Classic Worn—will have push/pull pots, weight-relief bodies, slim taper necks, and other more contemporary appointments.

Loving the sound of new head stock designs from Epiphone as this is one of my pet hates about Epiphone guitars, i have always wanted Epiphone to release a new guitar with the same headstock design as Gibson guitars, i'm not expecting that for a while but this is certainly a step in the right direction !!
