'Theme from an Imaginary Western' by Mountain contains perhaps what I think are the 2 best solos of all time. I'm talking feeling. The spaces in which he placed his notes, and their effect on top of the chords. It's not shredding, but to me, shredding is most appealing when it's done to cheese. I have never heard of a squealie! The 2 most influential paul players for me are townsend and neil young, but I am a little older......................
