I like the look of the new Casino. It may be too pricey for some Epiphone customers, but the Elite Casino always sold out.

Think this is the first time for the Casino to have this headstock.

Other than the headstock, that looks just like mine. Love the P-90's

I removed my pick guard though. Looks better.

Casino's were duds? When was that? The cheap Asian kinda is.. But mainly because of the horrible Asian Pickups! Easily remedied though..

All the others have been Limited Editions & all Sold Out easily. The '65's, Elites. Elitist's, IBJL's, 60th Anniv. & Gary Clark Jr. Blak n Blu are outstanding versatile Guitars..

In the Used Market many are Selling for equal or higher Prices than they were New...

The Pandemic has definitely altered everything.

A USA Casino & a USA ES335 would be the perfect complimenting pair of Electric Archtops....

I hope they are still planning to build them....

What I like about mine is that if you want to practice unplugged late at night, it sounds like an Acoustic guitar.  I am deaf without ny hearing aids,  I can't hear a solid body guitar unplugged without my aids but I can hear my Casino good enough without them and it doesn't seem to bother Deb who is sleeping in the other room.

So... these were a dud then? It seems that now in July, they're not only not availble, but no mention of them anymore... I'm guessing Gibson changed their mind...?

The sales rep I reached out to a couple weeks back mentioned that we're looking at a September release date at this point.

My Sales Rep said, June or July.. Here it is August... I'm starting to lose interest... I already have some great Casinos.. Just wanted a USA...

I can wait until they're readily available or a nice Used one...

Meanwhile, I'm thinking about another Gretsch....  A G-6120EC Eddie Cochran, G-6122 GH-VS George Harrison or a G-6136-59 LTV White Falcon... They're all available...

I love Gretsch.  I have a red Streamliner semi hollow. It's my biggest guitar so far.

I've heard those are pretty cool!

I have one of the early G-5120's that's pretty nice... I recently got the George Harrison Duo Jet. Beautiful Guitar! I love the Dyna Sonic Pickups!

My first guitar at 13 was a Gretsch silver jet.  It was metallic, actually a sparkle metal flake silver anyway.  I played it all the time.

You gotta love the classic Gretsch sound but the current incarnation of the brand is confusing to me.

I am consistently appalled by the quality (or lack thereof) of the Electromatic line and from there it’s like a $6K jump to the next model. In my experience it is incredibly rare to find a current production high end Gretsch in a music store.

With that said their high end products seem to garner positive reviews. Our member Retrosurfer got a beautiful mint green Gretsch and I seem to remember him saying it was his most played guitar. And he has a considerable collection

The US Casino surely must be delayed by covid-19. I’m sure it is still coming

Cream City Music, Milwaukee Wisconsin.  They have a tonne of them.  I've stunk up a bunch of 'em every time I visit.
