Forlorn Crusade
So I have a Gibson B-25. From the serial number checker it was made in 1965. My question is were these guitars only made in one location? If so which plant was it made? Just seeing if anyone had an idea. Thanks. ksdaddy
Just Kalamazoo. Nashville didn’t open until 1974 I think. Not sure when the B-25 was dropped but I’m positive none were made outside of K-zoo. Bozeman didn’t open until 1988-9, long after they were dropped.

rustystrings
FWIW, there were some B-25 reissues produced in Bozeman in recent years, but they'll have the modern serial number and probably paper labels as well, and should be readily identifiable as Montana Gibsons. Guitar Center had a couple of runs of them, and I suspect some were made for the Japanese market.
tpbiii
1965 was a pivotal year for Gibson -- sort of the end of the old ways and the beginning of the new. Early 65 guitars bring more than late 65 guitars. It don't know all the details but it has to do with the introduction of more automation. If the angle of your headstock it 17% your guitar is early 65 -- if 13%, then late 65.
