uncle fester
Hey folks - thinking of future days post corona, and was talking to the wife of possible vacations and the idea of taking the family to a bluegrass festival came up. Thinking good music, family friendly, multi day and near by camping are all descriptors that come to mind. Does anyone have any input on festivals that would be worth checking out (North of Tennessee, East of Chicago) or where I should look to find this information? Appreciate any input (posting in the Acoustic forum thinking this group would be more aware?) Thanks - b
Jim Wilson
There is a national bluegrass association and I'll just bet they have a web site. You might check there for festivals that are near you or of interest.

BoSoxBiker
...and Merlefest is cancelled this year.
Murph
The Jerusalem Ridge festival is at the homeplace of Bill Monroe just outside of Beaver Dam, Ky. It's a great natural amphitheater and a several day event with food and such. It's in late September this year and all of this hyper paranoia should be well over by then. I had to miss last years due to crooked contractor. https://worldofbluegrass.org/wide-open-bluegrass/ Good times.
