kidmag
Hi all, My Les Paul falls into that weird 1975-77 serial number range. I'm trying to determine in which plant it was manufactured, Nashville or Kalamazoo. The serial number is 00236154. Its' also has "Les Paul - Standard" and "Made in U.S.A." stamped in the same gold lettering as the serial number. Any way to know? Thanks

The Mick
It a '76 for sure 100% from Nashville Decal with "Made in U.S.A." with "00" prefix is 1976 Prefix Year ------ ---- 99 1975 00 1976 06 1977 This was only done for these 3 years.
kidmag
It a '76 for sure 100% from Nashville Thanks Mick. Do you know it's Nashville because of the numbering? I only ask because in the history of Les Paul book they say 1975 was the first year the "standard" became official, and that only 25 were produced in 1976 in Kalamazoo factory - so obviously I was hoping...
