Folks,

Check it out:

The Southern Jumbo looks really road worn but the SJ 200 looks to have been dragged behind a bus .Still both have amazing tone in my opinion and it shows that Bozeman has done a great job in capturing the spirit of the Gibson of old.

It's strange that both of those guitars have similar damage. Looks like someone has been using them as a club.

Everyone's ears are different, but I preferred the Old SJ.  I think my SJ200 sounds 'better than his'.  But maybe that's because I didn't crack the bridge and split the face in 3 places.

Most amazing to me in this video  - the two guitar cases in the background are in pristine condition.

Did you notice how pristine the backs of both guitars looked ?  I have a feeling something really, really heave fell on top of them  both at the same time..

Like a tall filing cabinet fell over on them, maybe. The damage is so similar on the two  that it's hard to think of this as a coincidence.

Didn't the one Oasis-brother smash the other Oasis-brother's J-200 after the other Oasis-brother had smashed the first Oasis-brother's 335. . .

I didn't watch the video, I just noticed the cracks lined up and the gap looks patched in the same area.

Red label CS if this is the one. The one shown busted up looks like a standard

Actually the smashed red guitar was Noel’s (A 355 I believe)

but the SJ 200 was Liam’s a Rosewood Natural Top:

It was a gift from his ex wife.

It had the Gibson Block logo .

His main writing guitar is a 1962 Hummingbird and an early 60’s LG 3 with no pickguard.

Looks like they have been glue sticked.    Dang  those are Beat.

If that happened to an SJ 200 standard that was mine ... I wouldn’t have it put back together with that same cracked top ... I’d have something new put on it or smash it to bits.

But not everyone has the means to have something rebuilt.

Glad they have pretty nice ton though.

Hopefully they last the guy for years to come.
