DR-100 Tuning Peg broken

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for suggestions to what to do. The low E tuning peg on my DR-100 is broken: 2 cogs of the cogwheel are broken, and makes it impossible to tune the string. (see attachment)

I think I could replace it by my self as I already tried to remove it to check if it was fixable, but I don't know where to find a new one that fits the guitar. Finding just the cogwheel would be great.

Does epiphone sell these parts? Where can I find specs for buying the right replacement?

Thanks,

Mike

My suggestion is maybe try calling or writing to Stewart MacDonald, aka as Stew Mac.  They carry a large number of replacement guitar parts and hopefully can help you.  A Google search should produce their website.

Hope this helps.  Let us know what happens.

QM aka “Jazzman” Jeff
