Memphis79
I just want to make sure my guitar is genuine in case I decide to sell it in these rough times, I’ll have to post more pics once it gets approved. My main concern is the serial number is pretty much unreadable I have to hold it up to the light and move it side to side to get it. The serial number dates the guitar to 4-30-79, has the volute genuine Gibson tuners from that era, but the serial number and not having the stamped made in the USA bothers me...... thoughts? old guy
Just going by the headstock it looks to be authentic, but pictures of the body and neck would be helpful to be certain. It is normal for the Serial Number to be hard to read, because it is stamped before the instrument is sprayed.
