Evilive1999
How can one go about getting a Les Paul replacement neck? I am convinced it can be done... but I am searching. I seek answers.
rct
It wasn't meant to be replaced as as matter of course, like a Fender. In fact, it was meant to be glued to that Les Paul forever. Best way would be to contact an authorized repair guy and estimate having the neck replaced. Even Stratosphere doesn't typically have set in/glued in necks, it just isn't worth doing for the most part for a one time person. rct
mihcmac
Removing a LP neck is very difficult, but with the right tools not impossible. Aftermarket LP necks can be found Google LP neck search.... https://www.google.com/search?q=les+paul+neck&sxsrf=ALeKk01Cz9Z1G0PdCf2hxRkz10s7ko_rfA:1588286432088&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi_5teEnJHpAhWIvZ4KHeA1BYIQ_AUoAXoECAwQAw&biw=1280&bih=668 Edited April 30, 2020 by mihcmac
Twang Gang
I believe only an authorized Gibson repair shop can get an authentic neck from Gibson. Mark Erlewine in Austin used to do it occasionally, but not sure he is still authorized by Gibson.
