Luiz A. Koehler
I have a Gibson guitar model Blueridge Custom (Kalamazoo, Michigan) and I would like to know if the wood at the bottom and sides are solid or laminated. According to what I researched there is the Blue Ridge model and the Blue Ridge Custom. Thank you
John D.
Can’t help with your questions but I bought a BlueRidge Custom in 1978 and have been trying to find out the difference between a BlueRidge and a BlueRidge Custom for years. Anybody know? Thanks
Luiz A. Koehler
I have a 1973 Gibson Blue Ridge Custom and this one has the solid rosewood bottom and sides. I've read several reviews that say the Blue Ridge model has a laminated wood bottom and sides. But I also found reviews that mention, wrongly I believe, that the custom model also features laminated wood sides and bottom.
jdgm
Suggest you copy and re-post this in the acoustic section, where someone is more likely to know about these guitars. https://forum.gibson.com/forum/40-gibson-acoustic/ Best wishes!
