A Mini "Jazzman" Jeff Concert

QuestionMark

Recommended Posts

A local outdoor festival that I was scheduled to perform at live will instead be having a virtual festival and asked me to contribute some videos of me playing my
Jazzman" Jeff solo guitar instrumentals.  Here are 4 of those videos  that I strung together and just put on YouTube as a Mini Concert.   The four guitar instrumental songs are 1)  Fly Me to the Moon; 2) Celestial Soda Pop; 3) SugarBee (an original); and 4)  Across the Universe.   The festival celebrates the visionary and imaginative author, Ray Bradbury, so the songs I am contributing have an imaginative side to them.

I am playing my 2017 Epiphone Limited Edition Mahagony EL-00, a now discontinued model as I suspect it would have taken away from the allure and sales of the new Gibson L-00 Studio model.

Hope you watch/listen.  I WELCOME  all comments.

Impressive all over the place !  The Epi sounds great - action must be like butter!  Don't know if I've ever heard a more impressive sounding Epi.  Of course,  Chet Atkins  response when someone complimented how good his guitar sounded -  he laid it down and said  "How does it sound now?"    I vote for Across The Universe. Thanks.

Great feedback!  Thanks.  Even associating my playing with Chet Atkins’ just made my day, today!  Regarding the Epi, the only mod I made was swapping out the relatively light original fake bone saddle in it for a $15 much more dense tusq saddle.  Plus, I put in ebony wood bridge pins instead of the stock plastic pins.  I too am impressed with this particular Epi’s sound.  As well as it’s playability.

Again, thanks for listening and the feedback!
