Skyfluke Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 I just purchased a Gibson Es 335 figured online from a reputable store in France, I received everything but not the Certificate of Authenticity from Gipson. I am new to Gipson guitars so, can anyone tell me if this is a normal thing! I believe not! I have the Quality Checklist Card and the photo but I really want to have the Certificate of Authenticity. Big Bill Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 (edited) I believe Eades is correct. The Custom Shop guitars comes with them but not the others. You can call Gibson them selves with the serial number of the guitar and they can confirm. Wmachine Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 A 2020 made in Nashville ES model will come with a COA only if it is a Custom Shop model.
