I bought an old Epiphone Casino VS with serial number 311537196, I tried in some pages like https://www.guitardaterproject.org and can't find it. Please help. Thanks. Matt4356 Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 It's a 'second'. It would have been sold by a company called MIRC, Musical Instrument Reclamation Centre. They add the gold sticker over the original number as it possibly says used on it. They add they're own serial numbers, they generally start 311. A lot of them come with USED stamped on the back of the headstock. It looks to be in good condition and they generally do a good job of refubing them, sometimes they didn't pass QC for small things.
