Frivolix666 Posted June 1, 2020 Share Posted June 1, 2020 Hello everybody, since I'm not getting answers in a german guitar internet forum, I signed up here. I hope you guys can help me. I'm lacking bass, low-end in my guitar sound. Here's what I use: Marshall 6100 Head, 1960 Box (G12T-75), Schecter E1 Standard. The Schecter-pickups are so bright and have very little bass. Installed a ceramic DiMarzio D-Activator at the bridge for more output, but it still lacks bass. It's a completely different thing with my 2nd Guitar: Epi Special II with Epi 650R & 700T pickups (these have ceramic magnets aswell!). Very round, warm, fat low end - I like the sound of those pickups. Long story short: I'm looking for a new guitar and it will be a Gibson. Which Gibson pickups would equal the Epi 650R & 700T-pair?
