Broken Arrow

Ever lend anyone a guitar and they end up breaking the damn thing on ya? That totally sucks, especially if it's a close friend who does the damage. Sure, "it was an accident" and they'll offer to "have it repaired or replaced" but hey, as the saying goes, the damage has been done. :(

Lets assume I have an older, less good, spare of something. I will lend that one out but not my favorite one. So it is with guitars. I kept the cheap one I originally bought just to see if I was really interested. Now that I have a better one, the cheap one is available for friends to borrow. It also becomes my experimental, learn to solder, guitar and gets upgraded as a result.

I don't borrow.

I would loan my Tele to a close friend or two. That's why I keep a Tele hanging around.

I wouldn't loan my Gibsons to anybody except my daughter. In the house.

She's 9 years old and has her own '08 Les Paul Studio Fireburst.

Only that one time' date=' but he mysteriously disappeared later that day. :D

I don't lend my guitars, my car, my underwear or my woman out to anyone. Just doesn't seem right to do so.
