I hope to learn here, about all of the possibilities that have come to be available to buyers in recent years. I am thinking about acquiring a 2015 archtop L.P. because I've heard that Gibson made all their necks with 1 3/4 inch wide nut widths in 2015, and I'd enjoy the smidgen of extra finger space, even if that means having the factory nut pulled off and replaced with a new bone nut with the slots for the strings cut for that purpose.
