I'm new to Epiphone's coil-splitting volume pots so I don't know if this is normal...

I bought a new Les Paul Classic. When I turn the neck volume up to 9 or 10 the volume will drop back down to around 7.5-8. I know the pot is damaged because the shaft is bent & the knob is slightly tilted. It had to happen either in China or Tennessee as there was no damage to the packaging.

Yes, I've contacted Customer Service but I'm still waiting for them to get to my email.

So just to be clear, this shouldn't happen... or should it for some weird reason? Like I said, I'm new to push-pulls.

Thanks for any help.
