How do I delete attachments I uploaded years ago?

I’m doing this on my phone so it may look a little different on a computer. At the top of this screen there is a blue-gray band with icons. At the far right there are three lines. Click there. Then click on “account” and “my attachments”.  You will then need to click on each POST (not pic) and edit/delete some of your photos.

There may be an easier and quicker way to do it but this will work.

Thanks y'all.

Sgt.Pepper:
There is a 500kb limit on the attachments you upload.

ksdaddy:
I tried that, and I can delete the post, but the picture stays in my attachments folder. I didn't see any way to edit and remove the picture either.

SteveFord:
I could upload to my website and link but I'd rather just drag and drop. Drag and drop takes a few seconds, uploading and linking takes a few minutes.

Appreciate the help, but they are still there. Now it's a real mystery ;)

I use imugr. Easy and quick once you get the hang of it. Upload a pic to imugr and cut the BBCode link on the right and paste it to your post. The pic will come up full size after you post. I mostly use computers for there intended purpose, stealing music and downloading porn, and cute cat pictures.

Notes,  when you are logged in got to the top of the page where it shows your log in name and click on it, a drop down menu will appear with one of the items being "My Attachments" go there and you will be able to select what attachments you want to delete..

Most of us who post images are using an image hosting sight like Imgur, copy the URL ending in an image file type like ".jpg" and paste into the post editor..

Thanks mihcmac

I can get that far, but when I get to that page, I can see the attachments. But there is no delete button, right-clicking doesn't work, and I can delete the post the picture was on by right clicking on that, but the picture still remains in my attachment folder.

I've tried it on Firefox, Chrome and Opera browsers.

Hmmm looks like something has changed, I just cleaned mine up just a couple of months ago and I just tried to delete a remaining one and couldn't.

Need to get KS Daddy on it..

I think I deleted a couple pics. See if there's any difference in your storage space. If not, I'll pose a question to the IT people.

The one in the blueshawk club has disappeared and freed up some space in MY Attachments..

This one below that was in the OPTIONS thread is still there. also I deleted the previous  post in this thread that I had also linked it to, to show you..

If you like, post a link to one or more of the posts that contain pics you want deleted. I can take a look, no idea if I will have any more control than you.  I’ll give it a shot though.

Thanks. It's bookmarked.

It looks like a good work-around.

Now if I can only figure out how to do it. 😄

Notes

So far the embed code doesn't work, and neither does the share. I tried just pasting  the links and using the "insert other media" option.

I haven't signed in for an account, and hope I don't need to.

I appreciate you going out of your way for that.

I wish there was a way I could do it myself. That way when it gets full again, I won't have to take your or anyone else's time.

Thanks again
