Epiphone Wildkat buzz problem

Hi,

I just bought an Epiphone Wildkat Royale & love it but its got a buzz. Its just on fretted notes on the A string. I checked the neck relief & it seems OK. There is clearance at the frets so I don't know what the problem is. Someone on Youtube said the internal wiring might rattle but everything seems OK & fixed in place. Any ideas or experiences?

Try pressing down on the pickup mounting ears while it's buzzing and see if it stops.  My 2015 Wildkat had a mystery buzz and  it turned out to be one of the solder joints on the bridge pickup was cracked allowing the cover to vibrate.  Another place to check is the A-string saddle on the bridge.

Brilliant! I will give that a go, thanks. Still have not finally decided/pinpointed if that is the problem but its a great solution. Have at least decided its nothing electrical or physically wrong with the guitar - i.e. neck problem etc. Cheers!
