Luxe Bees in reissues

Recommended Posts

I haven't been following Gibson's news and gossip much recently but I learned today that Gibson may now be using Luxe bees in reissues instead of the fake, encapsulated ones they used to use.

Does anyone know if that's correct?

I have no idea if they’re another cap in a plastic shell or if it’s an actual PIO cap. Sounds good enough to not bother with changing

I agree, I was just interested given all the noise over the years about the ones they were using and the question of whether they misrepresented what they were before someone opened one. Just curious.

Looks like luxe bees. Thanks for the pic. Is that your new R9 I was just drooling over?
