stefofthenorth Posted September 16, 2020 Share Posted September 16, 2020 Hello everyone I just bought my first guitar a Les Paul Studio from long an mquad .. super excited to start my journey .. I was curious peoples thoughts as the sales man said I get a free set up but it would take 3-5 days .. he must of saw the look on my face and told me take home play with it really does not me much because it is a “Gibson” and come back in spring a use the free set up service.. got it home sounded like and my friends said it was brutally out of tune. I went to tune it and broke the G string. the store was good gave me free strings any tips to install or tune the g string ? Should I just bite the bullet and take it in to setup ... jvi Posted September 16, 2020 Share Posted September 16, 2020 congrats on your new Gibson, perhaps the person giving lessons could advise you on the set-up and string changes....if you cant get help with the g before then perhaps you-tube could help you. enjoy, have fun, also, 3 to 5 days is quik !!!
