Alright folks - this is a selfish post, wanting to look at some guitar porn...    I know most of you have some freakin' awesome guitars, if not collections - post a picture of you ( or anyone) playing them.  Because I'm a weak *** newbie who should be rocking the open mic circuit but has been shut down by this freakin covid - I don't have any rock star pictures of myself to post - so I'll start with a farvorite of mine from micmac - he's got cool pictures.

Anyone got pictures to post, even something staged to show off a prize guitar would be cool..

I see an SG, is that a Fender Bass?

Note that my Bass Player was also an excellent Lead Player as well as Violin and Keyboards.. Our Vocalist/ Tamborine also Played the Drums and Keyboards.. Our Percussionist on the V-Drums also played Acoustic Guitar.. We wrote all of our tunes, individually and later as a group effort..

60th birthday 29 June 2014.  I loved this.  Duo jazz gig using my Knight archtop which I've had since 1979.

Still doing sh*t pub gigs - May 2015.  Not the same shirt as the 1st pic!  LP Custom with P90s, Fender Super 60 etc.  The headstock is obscured by a mic boom.

And Xmas a year later at the Totton club, Southampton, UK.  Gibson L4-S, an amazing instrument. No-one in the band was wireless; the thing behind me is so the club MC could walk around while doing the raffle.

That's enough from me.  More pics when I do more gigs, ha ha......:-k

Just found this one. This is me with Jazz band Vinyl Frontiers in 2016 at the Spring Arts & Heritage Centre. I was with them for their debut gig in Winchester, this one in Havant and another outdoor one at Hill Head. It was d@mned hard work getting my jazz chops up to speed as I am not really a jazz musician. I was also the only one of them who didnt read music. Maybe my last significant musical achievement.  Worth it though.

The youngest guy there is Tom the drummer. This was his 18th birthday. The oldest is Richard the trumpet player who had reached his 70s.

That thing comes up huge, I had to select Open in New Window then to put it in Full Screen Mode to see it play. I've fallen out of office chairs when I put too much weight on the edge. The lady in the house coat saves the day and the husky is great...
