giljoy Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Hi, I bought this Les Paul Reissue in 1989 in Heritage Cherry Sunburst flametop. Came with Gibson PAF humbuckers. Serial #: 9 xxx9. Near mint-condition. Any thoughts on approximate resale value of this guitar? Quote
merciful-evans Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 What you paid for it might be a useful starting place. Check out reverb and CL etc. and compile a list for a few weeks. Take your average from that list. Unless you are anxious to sell it! That would be different. Are you unhappy with it? Quote
Eracer_Team Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 (edited) I would guess given price of new and depending on where in the world you are (USA, Canada, UK) 1989 is just after Norlin and start of Henry times. In played condition probably $1500usd In excellent mint possibly $2200 Edited October 12, 2020 by Eracer_Team Quote
giljoy Posted October 12, 2020 Author Posted October 12, 2020 Thanks. No, I'm not unhappy with it. It's great. I haven't played electric guitar in almost 20 years and just coming back to it now. Not quite the sound i'm looking for anymore. I might sell some of my equipment (though unsure if i want to let go of this guitar). Quote
merciful-evans Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 What kind of sound are you looking for giljoy? Quote
