deepblue
Keep in mind that JP also added his irreplaceable "mojo" to his Black Beauty Les Paul... it has been foretold that he who doth wield Jimmy Page's stolen axe whilst playing with the Pick of Destiny shalt become the greatest guitarist of all time That guitar was stolen in Canada. Danny Marks was saying that he played on the same bill as Zeppelin when they played The Rock Pile ( Masonic Temple) in Toronto in 1969. He said that Page was very careless with his guitars. He himself noticed Pageys #1 sitting there left unattended for ages with an almost empty theatre. It must have been after a sound check and before the gig. He said he picked it up and played it for 20 minutes (unplugged) and not a soul even came near him. He said he could have grabbed it and been out the side door onto to Davenport street and been long gone.
