Brian50
Hello has anyone ever seen a custom shop custom before? Not sure what the color is either (Honeyburst or Viceroy Brown). Also, when did Gibson start using CS in the serial number? How do you attach photos? https://postimg.cc/gallery/BtDqyJj Edited October 29, 2020 by Brian50

Thanks I have a Custom Shop LP Custom, think it's 2009. They started using the CS prefix some years before that though. Photos; join a free image-sharing website (I use Postimage - we all used Photobucket until they started charging!!). Upload your photos to the site (may have to resize them first) and then copy the link they give and paste it into your posts. It takes a little practice as there are several different kinds of links. Brian50
Hey JDGM, thanks for the response. So, I have owned a few customs from the 90's and they all had normal serial numbers. However, I have never seen one with the custom shop logo on the back of the neck. Just wondering why that was done? I will try and post pictures in a few. this guitar is beautiful.
