1992mustang
I have a December 2005 Les Paul Standard, 50's neck. I bought it used, in pristine condition. It is all original. What pickups does it have? Burstbuckers? It sounds perfect!

NeoConMan
Yes. That's what I put in my LP Classic to rid myself of those horrid ceramics. BurstBucker Pro - or BB Pro V as it was called is a great pickup. Do not confuse them with the unpotted BB 1, 2, or 3.
tazzboy
Burstbucker Pro Alnico 5. The Burstbuckers 1, 2, and 3 have Alnico 2 magnets like the Classic 57 and Classic 57 Plus, and 490R and 490T.
NeoConMan
Right on TB! Just don't overlook the lack of wax potting. In an effort to make the BB 1, 2, and 3 more "vintage" they are not. When your 'vintage' pickup goes microphonic and squeals like hell, you'll know what I mean. It's a very important point overlooked far too often - I'll never own another unpotted humbucker.
