Pinetreebob
Hands down the nicest looking Studio I have seen. Stunning. That IS nice! Pretty spectacular actually! I'm considering a Standard but if I ran across a Studio like that one, I just might pull the trigger.
Jeffytune
It seems it been a while since someone posted here, so I will throw mine in to show off my new girl.... She must be one of the weight relieved models, as it weighs in at 7 pound, 12 oz. Great neck, play effortlessly.

I’ve always thought it was weird how Gibson sticks gold hardware on Studios since Studios are supposed to be basic models. They always act like gold hardware is a feature on Customs. I love the older studios, I just picked up a 1990 Wine Red studio with an ebony fretboard and it blows away the 2016 50's tribute I just had. Love the white and gold look https://imgur.com/a/awKGD link to my 1990

Airedale1
Love a Studio thread so here's my studio premium+ in amber finish. That is gorgeous. I don't like gold hardware; but it sure looks perfect there.
Kamloops Mike
Hello everyone! Here's a couple of my'04 Ebony beast! I've played several Gibson LP's and own an Epi LP Standard, but this one spoke to me! She has the most amazing tone and is the only guitar I have every played that felt & sounded good when playing the last few frets on the fingerboard. With the Bigsby in place (mounted with a VibraMate) she weighs 10.2 lbs, so is definitely not "weight relieved"! I love the look of the Bigsby on the ebony studio! hessodreamy
Picked up a slightly beat up lp studio. Got a decent deal on it because it came without pickups and had had a diy paint job on the top which shows off the wood texture. It's not terrible. I put in some duncan antiquities and a bigbsy. I don't like gold hardware but it's all so tarnished I don't mind it and it doesn't look out of place next to the worn nickel pickup covers. I don't like the all-black look so I changed the pickguard and might change the knobs. I paid £350, so about what you'd pay for an Epiphone LP standard. Maybe I could have got it for cheaper. Anyway, here's how it came: And here's how it looks now:
Viktorija Arsic
Well, I posted a thread on here a few months ago about a Studio that I have that I couldn't sell for $725. I was told that because it had 'Seymour Duncans" and not original pickups, that it wasn't worth jack. Naturally, I thought this advice was moronic. To prove my point, I kept the guitar and added MORE non-Gibson hardware. I added Tone-Pros locking bridge and tailpiece, Faber locking posts, Sperzel locking tuners, Graphtech saddles and miscelanous other hardware. I just got it finished yesterday, and last night was the first time I was able to crank it up. The before and afters are below: Before: And now, lady's and gentlemen; I give you The Bandit: Now THAT's a hot rod. Think she'll fetch $725 now? WOW that is an amazing Studio! I absolutely love how it looks, especially how the gold paint was so tastefully done.
Viktorija Arsic
Here's my Studio... Flight959 These are all beautiful guitars (and I have the same Studio!) I was just wondering, what is the Les Paul on the far right, in the red finish? I'm digging those two (only two!) tone controls. It looks like a Standard from an earlier model year... If you could let me know I'd really appreciate it! Thanks
Viktorija Arsic
Here's my Studio Satin from 2011 (with stock Burstbucker Pros, baked maple fretboard, and the good old trapezoid inlays)
SteveFord
No pics or anything but I spent a few hours playing my 07 wine red Studio today and it still just astounds me how much guitar I got for the money. It's not the fanciest one out there (obviously) but out of a store full of Les Pauls that's the one that said Buy Me!

Huge "bang for your buck" guitars IMO Drives me crazy when people say "It's just a studio...." like it's a negative thing......great guitars.
