I bought a SOHO QTR-1, 2 channel 4-12AX7 pre amp and I'm wondering if it would be easy to install, not an effect loop. but a Pre Amp In jack that decouples the Hawk pre amp when a instrument cord is inserted? Is it a simple 2 or 3 wire splice or more work than it'd be worth. I'm using the amp to drive a 50 watt 4x12 cab, with vintage low wattage Jensens and Eminences, and don't want to go buy a 50 watt tube power amp.
