Plugging tailpiece holes (Maestro)

So the last two weeks I was trying to figure out how I was going to plug the two tailpiece holes after installing the Maestro and I came across the plastic plugs on Amazon and they worked perfectly. I also painted them with Testers off white paint and I’m pretty happy.

I also aged the Maestro by playing basketball then wiping the sweat on the Maestro. After three sessions it’s starting to age it. Lol 😂

Its a sweet SG. The hole bungs seem an ideal solution too.

As for the sweat thing, it worked well enough for Rory Gallagher. As for the effect of sweat on metal, there was a thread on here about 5 years back. Someone (Bence perhaps) had the chemistry all worked out. All I can say is that as a former machinist, it was a well known phenomenon that certain people had what we termed 'rusty fingers'.
