Hi guys, can you give me an idea of a good used price for a Gibson Custom Shop 339, sunburst plain top, 60's neck???? Thanks....any things to look out for fit and finish wise, construction etc? Thanks for all the advice in advance.....Wily

You know, that post got me thinking.

 

I don't know if I'd take $2500.00 for mine or not. (mines the 30/60 neck Vintage Burst)

In all seriousness, I've see a couple on craigslist in Toronto going for $1600 canadian (currently, that works out to about $1295 US).

The few I've seen on craigslist here in Toronto were around $1,800, Canadian.

$1,800 was also the old new price on a 339. Now they're $2,300, new.

I've seen a couple used sold at Mark's Guitar Loft for US $ 1400. I got mine new but "blem" for $1370. I couldn't find anything blem about it - great guitar.

really? they're C$2,300 new now? glad I got one when I did...paid $1,700 (plus 5% GST).

I love mine, it's a beauty.

 

since the're a relatively new model I would suspect the used price would come fairly close to the new price, keep in mind you don't get warranty on used.
