kitsune1324
Just upgraded from a 2006 Epiphone SG Standard to a secondhand 2019 SG standard and it feels AMAZING in comparison. The only thing I'm concerned about is the pots feel loose (you can slightly lift them off of the guitar) and they don't feel very smooth when turning them, they feel a little gritty. It happens to all of them and the nuts are tight, but is this expected? Here's a video of the pot movement: https://imgur.com/a/9WwIqI0
Sgt. Pepper
Yeah they should not do that, but does it affect how it sounds when played. Edited January 8, 2021 by Sgt. Pepper
kitsune1324
It doesn't affect sound, but I ended up calling Gibson and their customer service had me remove the back cover to find it's their PCB, so they say that it's perfectly fine if their pcb. It just feels very lackluster.
