But it's something I found by accident while looking for this exact thing. I put some 1/2 inch glass shelving in for the home-entertainment stuff and thought it'd be cool to light the edges of the glass somehow. If you take any LED light and place it on the edge of a glass shelve the whole edge will light up no problem... Works great with a Blue LED or any color really...
