Californiaman
Does anybody know where I can send my gold pickup covers to be (what... anodized) touched up or dipped. I want them professionally done. Mine are starting to show signs of wear.
NeoConMan
Aw, man... Gold sucks for that very reason. I dunno, just get new Gibson covers maybe? Take the old ones off and clean them as well as possible - then put 'em away for a rainy day. When you want "aged" look you'll have just the ticket! I doubt it would be cost-effective to have them plated.
The Mick
Look in the yellow pages in your area for Metal finishers find a smaller one and see if the can throw them in with another batch of items they are doing. They will most likely do it for some cash. When they do a run for a customer they have to use a complete tank and most of the smaller shops get jobs that don't fill the tank anyway but the customer gets charged for a whole dip.
