Rich H.
Does any one know the year Gibson stopped making the Dove model in production. I know the Dove was made in Limited Editions for a few years, but I don't know the year they stopped offering the Dove in their sales brochures. Any information to this question will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Edited January 22, 2021 by Rich H. added more text
Dave F
I think they're sporadically in and out of the standard line. Not in the 2016 and 2017 lineup but they are in the 2018, gone in 2019 but they are in the current lineup under the Original series. http://legacy.gibson.com/Products/Acoustic-Instruments/2018/Dove.aspx https://www.gibson.com/Guitar/ACCN8H793/Dove-Original/Vintage-Cherry-Sunburst
zombywoof
This is all book learning (which does not necessarily imply accuracy) the Dove was in production in Bozeman up to 1996. It was then available only as a custom model until 2007 when it reappeared in the catalogs. For how long I do not have a clue. Attempting to keep up with the comings and goings in the Bozeman catalog though is daunting task and would require far more interest in it than I have.
