tomvwash Posted January 24, 2021 Share Posted January 24, 2021 (edited) Any guesses or info on why the serial # on the inside label and the headstock do not match up on a 2018 ES-330. Serial is 12147714 and the actual headstock stamp says 2018. They were not making these in 2017, I assume. Is this a simple issue of manufacturing the guitar and stamping serial # ahead of actual release year? ..I can contact Gibson Customer Service tomorrow, I suppose...
