My God. The Guitar Porn.

Yeah these won't be cheap, but the real deal never is. Frankly, it's math.

Ren = Art + Tone

And lots of folks didn't take vacations this past year or dine out at Smith and Wollensky. He will have a capacity problem before he has a demand problem.

By the way dude is at fightin weight. Looking healthy. Thumbs up.

No argument that Ren has the talent and creds.  And a whole lot of bling is certainly a Ren trademark.  But he also has a lot of competition when it comes to small builders turning out very Gibson-esque guitars from the likes of Blazer & Henkes, Kopp, Greven,  Walker, Fairbanks and more.  So I would be curious to see if his bread and butter guitars are the equivalent of his  Gibson Museum pieces or just upper end versions of a line which includes more plain jane guitars and which are within the financial means of us mere mortals.  You can't tune or play bling.  But I do wish Ren & his son all the luck in the world which will  be a far more interesting place with him back in the game.

so hes out of Guild .. ?

Ren left Guild after orchestrating their move from New Hartford to Oxnard, and developing a brand new manufacturing facility for Cordoba.  So both Gibson & Guild are currently building instruments on platforms established by Ren.
