fastdave
Hi folks, About fifteen years ago, I thought I would add an Epiphone LP standard to my collection, which included a lot of mid price machines, like Washburn, Tanglewood, Fender, Ecko, etc. I played the Epi for a while, and was drawn into my Dundee guitar shop - I played with the LP Standard for a while, and one day - I said - Gimme it ( or Gei's it, in Scottish dialect) - never looked back, despite the fuss about lightening and chambering! I bought my Yam CLP535 about a year or so later - got fed up with modern heating putting the old piano out of tune - again - never looked back........... Oh, should mention my Marshall JCM 900 - favourite amp, of course..... Next, I went back for the SJ200 - about ten years later - same phrase........ Now I want a strap button - Attack the forums!!!!! Me, I'm a retired HV electrical engineer with a mechanical endorsement, great workshop, and my other passion - a Westerly 26 Centaur sailing boat. sparquelito
Welcome, Dave. My family immigrated over here to the new land in the late 1800's from Scotland and Ireland. We like a wee dram every now and then, to this day. Ah dinnae ken. It's in the blood, I reckon. 😐
