Hi!

I need some expert help to help identify this  Es335.
the model number is ESDP15CHNH1

from my research,

es= electric Spanish

D= dot

But it has block inlay so I do not sure if this is a fake certificate or whether it’s real? Or do I misunderstand the code ?

please help

Hi Marktwine,

The D is part of the DP which means dual pickup. This does to way back when Gibson made Electric Spanish guitars with one or two pickups; 1950's back. The CH is for cherry finish. The NH is for nickel hardware. I'm not positive but I think the 1 is for solid color finish. I used to have a 335 that I think had a 2 at the end and it was a sunburst finish. I hope this helps.
