Stairway To Heaven solo

It's so tastey! The first phrase has the listener expecting an A minor Pentatonic lick, but it ends on that F taking into the Harmonic Minor Zone. The whole thing builds from Sweet to Raunchy, mirroring the song itself. At the end of the solo, when most overdubbed guitars would drop out of the mix, the Guitar that was playing the lead starts on the Rhythm, adding to the overall build of the song.

Yeah, that's the best Rock-n-Roll Solo ever played.

Good Times' date=' Bad Times

I Can't Quit You Babe

Whole Lotta Love

Heartbreaker

Since I've Been Loving You

Black Dog

etc

etc

etc

I always thought Achilles Last Stand was pretty good too..

If you play Stairway to Heaven in my local Gibson store' date=' they reserve the right to kill you.[/quote']

I'll usually go ahead and play Stairway right in the music store, then remind the angry sales rep he could be working in Wal Mart if he'd rather not hear intermediate interpretations of Classic Tunes. :-s
