The first phrase has the listener expecting an A minor Pentatonic lick, but it ends on that F taking into the Harmonic Minor Zone. The whole thing builds from Sweet to Raunchy, mirroring the song itself. At the end of the solo, when most overdubbed guitars would drop out of the mix, the Guitar that was playing the lead starts on the Rhythm, adding to the overall build of the song.
