olympic_white68
Hello there! So a while ago I bought a mixed assortment of old Gibson parts that dated from the early 60s to late 70s, and in this lot there was this strange "bridge" pice. Al I know is that the thumb wheels have some value, but besides from that I have no idea on when it is from and where it belongs or if it even is Gibson, so I wonder if anyone reading this might know what it is? photos: https://ibb.co/k2ZLD5p https://ibb.co/SsycWLj Regards Jackie
MacDiarmada
Looks like the remains of the mountings for an archtop tune-o-matic.
olympic_white68
Thank you for the reply 🙂 You are right, it kinda feels like the remains of an original bridge the more I look on it, maybe it is only the mountings that are original Gibson, and the rest is homemade?
