Kevin Ayres - Do You Believe

Recommended Posts

This song is from one of those Kevin Ayres albums that escaped me, 'Falling Up'. It looks to be unavailable now except as used. Someone on Amazon is offering one at more than £50. I'm a fan, but I'll keep on looking.

Anyway its a good song from a unique artist.

He had his own band 'Kevin Ayers & the Whole World' that included Lol Coxhill and Mike Oldfield.

And David Bedford too - I saw them play once at Guildford Civic.  He (Ayers) was very pissed.

How many of those guys are high as s-hit?

In Europe at that time the main thing was beer and hash, although psychedelic's did come into play.

I had the "Shooting At The Moon" LP on Harvest at the time.

And later  "The Confessions of Dr. Dream and Other Stories" which had a fantastic line-up of musicians.

Quite a guy.

I have stuff I downloaded.
