rbpicker
Here’s a quick iPhone recording of one of Garth’s early hits. Always loved this tune. I muffed the lyrics in one or two spots, but...hope you enjoy it anyway. Love this J45. thanks for watching. 1
Sgt. Pepper
He is my wife's hero. We don't talk about Garth or I go to the time out chair.
fortyearspickn
RBp, Great Job. Many of Garth's songs are a bit more sophisticated than they sound. I don't realize it until I pick up his song book and try to play one. No one can deny some are classics. You certainly nailed this one! Thanks! rbpicker
Thanks for giving this a listen, guys. Kwalker, Garth was an Oklahoma boy wasn’t he? Could be wrong, but I seem to remember that. Roger
kwalker201
You are correct. He is from Yukon which is a small town just west of OKC. It is where I have hung my hat for the last 30 years. He rarely ever comes back here other than to visit his parents graves.
