salve ho acquistato una gibson cet atkins custom shop classica con num. di serie F 009,,,,  è possibile avere notizie su questo modello? in che anno è stata fatta? grazie

Sorry, I only speak English (and a little French) but  I think your your question relates to what  year a Chet Atkins Custom Shop nylon string guitar with a serial number that starts F 009 was made.  Most (probably not all) custom shop guitars, the first number indicates the year.   The Chet Atkins electric nylon string guitars were first made in 1982, and were discontinued in 2005 so using the above serial number theory your guitar could have been made in 1990, or 2000.  

The Chet Atkins models I see on the internet don't appear to have custom shop serial numbers however and then the first and fifth number determine the year ie. 91257605 was built in 1997.

There were a few different models, one a narrower fingerboard width (4.6 cm) than a usual classical guitar would have (5.0 cm).  There was one with a cedar top that was made from 1999 to 2002.  There was also a studio model made from '93 to '99 and again 2004 and 2005.

So it is very hard to say about yours as it depends on which model it was and the complete serial number.  If you could post some photos of it we might be able to help more.

Ho visto alcuni dei primi modelli di Chet Atkins (1982-83) con un prefisso di lettere seguito da tre numeri. Non seguono il sistema standard del numero di serie Gibson. Quelli che ho visto iniziano con B o C. Mi dispiace di non poter essere più utile.

Betsy may not throw no codes, but apparently she's fluent in Italiano.  I can't understand much of your reply but it seems evident that in any language Gibson serial numbers are confusing 🙂

Ciao, Optik--mi ricordo di aver letto che fra il 1981 e il 1982, Gibson ha prodotto 1000 modelli Chet Atkins, serializzandoli con l'alfanumerico A000, A001 .... B000, B001, ecc. Quindi secondo questa informazione, la tua dovrebbe essere stata prodotta intorno alla prima meta' del 1981. Non sono pero' sicuro al 100% di cio' che ti dico--che tra l'altro ti riporto a memoria. ;-)

Comunque se sei determinato a sapere per certo in che hanno sia stata prodotta la tua chitarra, io manderei un'email a Gibson; ho sentito che sono molto solerti nel rispondere a domande di questo tipo.
